New Platform

A specific drone model and configuration, certification is granted at this level, never at the company level.

What kind of product this is decides which of this product’s screening rules can reach it at all. They were written for uncrewed aircraft and counter-UAS systems; none is written for a type-certificated aircraft, engine or part, so its parts are not screened here and the results section says so rather than showing a pending review. Pre-selected from your organization’s profile; change it per product.

The approval pathway you’re aiming for. Blue UAS, the DoD-approved pathway (DCMA’s Cleared List of whole platforms, and the Framework for individual components) for defense buyers. Green UAS, AUVSI’s parallel certification for commercial and public-safety buyers. None, no formal pathway. This only changes which rules block versus inform; it never suppresses a real failure.

How this platform will be funded when sold, this decides which rules apply to you. DoD Contract: Department of Defense contract funds. Federal Civilian: a non-DoD federal agency’s funds. Federal Grant: a federal grant or assistance award (triggers Buy America grant guidance). Commercial Only: no federal funds involved.

DoD-only rules (NDAA §848/§817) only block the rollup if "DoD Contract" is selected, otherwise they show as informational so a non-DoD customer isn't shown irrelevant failures.

Where this platform’s data physically lives (its servers / cloud region). NDAA §848 evaluates this independently of hardware origin, a component can fail on data location alone, with no hardware issue.

Who administers that data (the entity with operational control), which is independent from where it’s hosted, a US-hosted system administered by a foreign entity still flags under NDAA §848.
